As with any injectable treatment, skinboosters can cause temporary side effects such as redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, itching or small bumps at the injection sites. More serious complications are possible with injectable treatments, although these are uncommon. Your practitioner will discuss the potential risks, contraindications and aftercare with you before treatment. 

 Results from skin boosters such as Profhilo and Seventy Hyal can begin to appear within a few days, with improvements in hydration, smoothness and radiance becoming more noticeable over the following weeks. Results develop gradually as the treatment works to improve the overall quality of your skin. The exact results and timeframe will vary from person to person, depending on your skin and the treatment provided. 

 For both Profhilo and Seventy Hyal, we typically recommend a course of 3 treatments, usually spaced a few weeks apart. This allows the skin to gradually build hydration and improve its overall quality. Your practitioner will advise on the ideal treatment schedule based on your individual skin and goals. 

Skin boosters such as Profhilo and Seventy Hyal require minimal downtime. You may experience some redness, swelling, tenderness or small bumps at the injection sites immediately after treatment. These usually settle within 24–48 hours, although bruising can occasionally last a little longer. Most people can return to their normal activities straight away.
