Blemish Removal

Downtime is usually minimal. Redness, swelling, tenderness or a small scab may occur while the area heals. You should avoid swimming, saunas, hot tubs and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours, or until the area has healed. Full aftercare advice will be provided following treatment. 

Most people find blemish removal comfortable, although you may feel a mild stinging or warming sensation during treatment. Some areas can be more sensitive than others. Your practitioner will ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout. 

Many blemishes can be treated in one session, although this depends on the type, size and number of areas being treated. Some may require more than one treatment to achieve the desired result. 

If a mole or skin lesion looks unusual, we will not treat it without further assessment. We can take a detailed image using a skin scope and, with your consent, send it to Map My Mole for assessment, or recommend that you see your GP first.
