Anti-wrinkle treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles responsible for expression lines. This helps soften forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet while maintaining a natural, refreshed appearance.
Every treatment is personalised following a facial assessment and consultation with a qualified prescriber. Results gradually develop over several days and typically last around three months. Available at Lumera Skin and Laser Clinic in Rowlands Castle, Hampshire.

There is very little downtime, and most clients can return to their usual activities straight away. Temporary redness, small bumps, mild swelling or bruising may occur. You should avoid lying down for four hours after treatment and avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sweating, saunas, steam rooms and heat exposure for 24 hours. Full aftercare advice will be provided.
Most clients find anti-wrinkle treatment very tolerable. A very fine needle is used, so you may feel a brief scratch or slight stinging sensation at each injection point. The treatment is usually quick, and any discomfort settles almost immediately.
No. You will first need a face-to-face consultation with our prescriber to ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for you. We can arrange this appointment for you, and your treatment can then be booked separately.
We use either Botox® or Azzalure®, depending on your individual needs and the prescriber’s recommendation following your face-to-face consultation.
Results can last for up to four months, although this varies from person to person. The effects gradually wear off rather than stopping suddenly, so it is completely normal to begin noticing some movement returning from around seven weeks. Most clients choose to have treatment approximately every three months.
Yes. Although complications are uncommon, every person’s facial anatomy and muscle strength are different, and we are treating muscles beneath the skin that cannot always be fully seen. Possible effects include bruising, asymmetry, an uneven result or temporary eyelid or eyebrow drooping. The treatment is temporary, so unwanted effects will gradually wear off.
